We have suture free fast techniques which is crucial for the more difficult circumcision for older babies and children. This allows us to these circumcisions for these older babies without general anesthesia using our unique Natural Sedation and Local Anesthesia.

We do circumcisions in our Los Angeles clinic for all ages ranging from 2 weeks old to 2, 3, 4,and 5 months old and up. We also circumcise other babies 6 months and older.
Some of these babies are born premature, had an infection or open heart surgery. None of these are an issue for our clinic.
Almost no pediatrician or obstetrics or urologist circumcise infants older than 1 month old due to the difficulty of these circumcisions. There are very few urologist in Los Angeles that preform circumcision for older babies. The few doctors who do preform circumcision require general anesthesia or strap the babies to a board. In addition we preform far more circumcisions than most urologist in Los Angeles.
However Dr. Nourparvar has great experience and training in circumcision for older babies. We don’t use a board and we are able to circumcise safely and comfortably without general anesthesia.

Dr. P. Nourparvar is one of the few doctors in USA offering the new technology of Ultrasound Guided Precision pain Injection in all ages for Circumcision. The most important benefit of ultrasound-guided injections is accuracy. With traditional “blind” injections, the doctor feels the injection area for certain muscles, bones, and tendons, and estimates where to place the injection; this can result in a high failure rate. Improperly placed injections are less likely to be helpful, and because the area that needs to be reached by the injection often measures just millimeters in size, it can be difficult to achieve proper placement with a blind approach. Ultrasound guidance can help minimize these complications.
Ultrasound guidance allows the doctor to see under the skin. The needle can also be seen on the ultrasound screen as it goes into the skin. Because the doctor can see exactly where he is placing the injection, the procedure is quick, and often less painful than a blind injection.
